access SAP / connect to SAP Explanation: I asked my husband who works in IT about this one. He said in French that it means "connecter à SAP". I told him you suggested "access", he said that would work too. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 50 mins (2017-01-26 20:00:12 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- It seems that they are hesitating about whether to connect to SAP ECC or SAP BW. This forum answer explains the difference between SAP ECC and SAP BW: ECC is SAP's ERP offering that has been around since the begining (back then called R/3), which consists of various modules including Finance, Logistics (Sales, Materials Management, etc.), Human Resources etc. BW (or BI as it is called now) is SAP's original data warehousing/mining solution, mainly for long-term (as opposed to operational) reporting.
