First of all, I didn't claim that my answer was "more accurate", so please, spare me your sarcasm :) Secondly, a title (however "catchy" you wanna make it) is at least supposed to mean something (is it not?) to the target audience and like I said "Ryblyovka" is just a meaningless word, completely unfamiliar to a wider western audience. Is that not true? Therefore, what's the use of it being "catchy" (which I don't think it is, but that's beside the point) if it doesn't mean anything? Since this IS a video, there can be no footnotes explaining meanings and origins of obscure terms. I suggest you conduct a simple experiment: try mentioning a "Ryblyovka (hills) cop" (giving no further details or explanations) to any native English speaker and see what kind of reaction you will get. There will be raised eyebrows at the very least, that's for sure. I hope I've now made myself clear. Thank you for your time. PS: Sorry if some of my comments sounded rude - I didn't mean for that to happen.

Despite your criticism of both the other answers, they sound catchy since this is supposed to be a video title. Your answer, while being more "accurate" does not have a good ring to it.

This may come as a surprise to you, but I always knew that Axel Foley wasn't THE only cop in Beverly Hills :) Anyway, my point is that it doesn't really matter if you call it "A Beverly Hills cop" or "THE Beverly Hills cop" here, 'cause just hearing "Beverly Hills cop" immediately evokes the cheerful figure of Eddy Murphy, clad in t-shirt and jeans, and not some fat, bad-tempered, uniformed, bribe giving policeman from Russia.
