La tensione/ deformazione di un bullone presenta un campo elastico e un campo plastico. Nel campo elastico, la legge di Hooke risulta vera. Tutto l'allungamento applicato all'interno del campo elastico viene alleviato quando il carico viene rimosso. L'entità dell'allungamento cresce con l'aumentare del carico. Quando un bullone viene teso oltre il suo carico di prova (carico massimo con il quale il bullone può presentare un comportamento elastico), l'allungamento elastico si trasforma in deformazione plastica e la tensione smette di essere proporzionale alla deformazione. vedo che il termine "allungamento" si usa in questo ambito....
