Greek term or phrase: ΜΜΔ

Yet another abbreviation that sends my brain into cryogenic inactivity. From a clinical examination:

Aραιοί ΜΜΔ βάσεων άμφω

From the placement of this on the slide, I'm guessing it refers to breath sounds. Can somebody please enlighten me as to the expansion of the abbreviation ΜΜΔ?
