Can anyone tell me what is the "escote" of a shoe please? All I can find is "neckline" and that is not for shoes.

This is for "zapatos de salón"

Thank you.

shoe with a low cut front

Explanation:
Shoes with an "escote" are sometimes called "court shoes" or "pumps".

Without the entire sentence, this is all that I can suggest. Can you integrate my suggestion into your sentence at all?

agree  Charles Davis: It is useful, isn't it? And it's dead right here. The escote is the throat, which is the top edge of the instep or vamp (empeine). It doesn't necessarily imply showing "cleavage"; it can be high or low.
