Anytime. Glad to have helped. I felt I had to say something after the frontrunner turned out to be "uneigennützig" - not to be unfair to insurance companies (after all, they're not NGOs), but this is definitely not a word I have heard people use when describing such businesses...

The entry on "désintéressment" matches the translation you found in your dictionary:
The (presumably) French author of the document chose the first meaning for the English translation of the word (disinterestedness) when he or she should have chosen the second one: "paying off" - or as they say in German there, "Befriedigung."

Exactly how you have translated it. Considering the other grammar pecularities (sell debt on the insurer?), I can just hope that someone has the original FR document at hand.

It'd probably help you tremendously.

This sentence is of course a grammatical mess but you’re idea to derive the meaning from the original language of the author put me on the right track.
As the author of the text is very likely French, I looked up the term “désintéressement” in Potonnier and found “settlement (of receivables)”; this translation fits into the context, i.e., the broker is not allowed to sell the debt which he owes to the Insurer during the duration of this Agreement and until he settled the receivables to the insurer.
Having said this, I will translate the phrase by „bis zur vollständigen Befriedigung des Versicherers“.
I should have posted here a bit more context with regard to the relationship of broker and insurer.
But also you’re hint and the one from Gofink with regard to a disinterested person in the sense of an independent person helped me with this consideration. Thank you!

However, while I can't provide you with a definite answer, I am quite certain that it's not "Uneigennützigkeit" or "Desinteresse." After re-reading it, I don't believe this is an ENS document:

"“Restrain” is a transitive verb: it needs an object. Although “refrain” was once a synonym for “restrain” it is now an intransitive verb: it should not have an object. Here are examples of correct modern usage: “When I pass the doughnut shop I have to restrain myself” (“myself” is the object). “When I feel like throwing something at my boss, I usually refrain from doing so.” You can’t refrain yourself or anyone else."
