رضایت نامه شرکت در تحقیق Explanation: Nowadays in research terminology we do not use the term "subject" to refer to human subjects anymore; instead we use "participant" to refer to them. So, in my opinion translating it as "داوطلبان انسانی" is an example of inappropriate literal translation. Plus, my colleague's suggestion, again in my opinion, is a clear example of over-translation and I believe there is no need to use such a long phrase and for using words which are not even in the source. I mean if the original wanted to convey the meaning of "آگاهانه", it could simply use "informed consent". |
