Pooling Agreement between two Oil Companies in Angola.

Is it correct to translate Entitlement as "Direitos" in this context or is there a specific term used in the Oil Industry?


Entitlement” means, as to each Party for a particular month, the total quantity of Crude Oil, which such Party has the right to lift pursuant to the lifting schedule for such month, under the Lifting Agreement.

The Parties above listed are willing to combine their Entitlements and market them together as and to the extent set forth herein. Each Cargo shall be comprised of the Entitlement of the Marketing Party and of the Seller Party.

This Agreement sets forth the terms and conditions according to which the Marketing Party will (a) buy the Seller Parties’ Entitlements, and (b) lift, market and sell the Seller´s Entitlements (together with the Marketing Party’s Entitlements).
