Explanation:
Pelo que entendi é importante manter uma palavra que indique a ação do amortecimento. Assim, por exclusão, eu não usaria apenas válvula nem registro. Estas fotos mostram dampers: http://www.supplyhouse.com/Dampers-1608000
Outra razão: o IATE dá damper como amortecedor em PT e válvula amortiguadora em ES para eletrônica e eletrotécnica.
