the threaded part of the bolt
Explanation:
This is where I would screw in a nut. It is a bolt, not a screw, BTW. A screw is self-threading.

Body: The smooth part of a fastener above the threads. Also called the shank. This is measured from the bottom of the head to the start of the transition to threads.

Shank The smooth part of a fastener above the threads. Also called the body.

What is the difference between a bolt, a screw and a stud?
A bolt is a threaded fastener mated with a nut. A screw has either pre-formed or self-made internal threads. A stud is an externally threaded headless fastener. One end mates with a tapped component and the other with a standard nut

A bolt is an externally threaded fastener designed for insertion through holes in assembled parts, and is normally intended to be tightened or released by torquing a nut

A screw is an externally threaded fastener capable of being inserted into holes in assembled parts, of mating with a preformed internal thread or forming its own thread, and of being tightened or released by torquing the head

a bolt with threads on both ends, to be screwed permanently into a fixed part at one end and receive a nut upon the other; - called also standing bolt.

I have looked all over the internet for a chart that shoes the shear strength of the threaded part of the bolt, as opposed to the smooth part.

Reference: szyjka śruby...???

Reference information:

Angielska terminologia: http://www.gizmology.net/images/bolt.gif .
