Property Developer/Real-Estate Developer Explanation: It seems to mean someone who develops property to re-sell it. They are in charge of developing the property but aren't the ones doing the actual construction work. Property developer and their agent or agents Explanation: This has previously been asked, but I don't believe it has been correctly answered, see: http://www.proz.com/kudoz/231699, http://www.proz.com/?sp=h&id=164276#416407 and http://www.proz.com/kudoz/977726#2369868 The general, previous KudoZ consensus and the translation I have also used in the past is "property developer". However, I am no longer happy with that translation. The following definition is far wider than "property developer" as it includes estate agents marketing property on the developer's behalf https://www.auxiliaire.fr/lexique/constructeur-non-realisate... "Dans le jargon populaire, le constructeur est soit celui qui conçoit l’ouvrage (l’architecte ou le concepteur), soit celui qui réalise l’ouvrage (l’entrepreneur ou le réalisateur). "Le législateur est plus large que l’acceptation traditionnelle et soumet à la responsabilité décennale ces personnes ainsi que celles qui ne construisent pas, mais font construire des ouvrages pour autrui ou en vue de la vente. "Cette dernière catégorie de personnes est désignée par l’expression «Constructeur Non Réalisateur». Il s’agit principalement : du vendeur d’immeuble achevé (ex : promoteur), du vendeur d’immeuble à construire (Vente en Etat Futur d’Achèvement), du maître d’ouvrage délégué, du marchand de biens, du lotisseur aménageur.
