Obviously gloves only have one at wrist, but bike vests have multiple adjusting straps, as Barbara pointed out: wrists, waist, sometimes torso
Any entry forces air inside, or flaps parts of the cloth against the body
They could also be called differently with Velcro or buckles, for example respectively tabs and straps

Click on the photo to see the palm side of the glove and the term here is "wrist strap"for the Velcro (c) fit-to-adjust flap thing.

A mon avis la force dissuasive et l'efficacité anti-buée sont pour d'autres articles (antivol, visière de casque ?)

If "anti-buée" and "pattes de serrage" are referring to the same thing, it could well be for a helmet visor. Sometimes these are attached to the helmet with poppers - I used to have such a thing in the '70s made by Stadium but I daresay distinctly old hat now...

I was just thinking the same thing — I've come across this, for example, in motorcycle gloves, where these are the 'tabs' that enable you to tighten them at the wrist. 'closure tabs', perhaps?
