A "topper" is a food product which is meant to be added to the bulk of a dog's meal to add nutritional value and taste. I'm afraid I don't have further context. Given it's not just a taste enhancer I cannot call it aromatizzante or similar.

Explanation:
Topper solitamente è una cosa che si aggiunge dopo sopra a un cibo. Bisognerebbe avere un minimo di contesto per capire almeno se parliamo di mangimi industriali o casalinghi.

Potrebbe essere sia un integratore, come già detto, sia riferirsi all'aggiunta di qualcosa nel momento in cui il pasto viene servito, esempio olio, ricotta aggiunti a un mangime industriale per renderlo più appetibile e aggiungere nutrienti. Pratica frequentemente consigliata per cani e gatti.
Se è un prodotto commerciale (e mi sembra più probabile) che viene venduto col nome di Topper, integratore è la scelta migliore.

secondo me “integratore” non è sufficiente, non sono solo integratori
Innanzitutto perché ci sono linee specifiche di integratori per animali che sono solo e unicamente integratori.
In secondo luogo, stando alla definizione qui sotto, i topper fanno parte della categoria degli esaltatori (enhancers): possono essere usati per arricchire il pasto normale, come pasto a sé oppure come candies/treaties in qualsiasi momento
