Explanation:
Whatever you finally decide to call this, this is the ES baccalauréat and not a university diploma.
The "bac généraux" are either "S" (science), "L" (littérature) or "ES" (économique et social. That is the "Option de spécialisation.
Then there are possible options within each major discipline. For example, in ES, there is the possibility of doing a spécialisation in maths, which is the case here, or in sciences politiques, for example, which is what my daughter did in 2013, for example and which is what the student I accomanied one-to-one part-time for 2 years did too.

I highly recommend avoiding the use of the term "specialisation" in English here. This is an economics and sociology bac with a minor specialisation possible, one of which, as is the case here, is maths.

En première
L’emploi du temps comprend des enseignements communs à tous les élèves des séries générales (français, enseignement moral et civique, EPS et langues vivantes).
Leur objectif : partager une culture générale fondamentale et faciliter les éventuels changements de série.
S’y ajoutent des enseignements spécifiques, parmi lesquels :
un enseignement de sciences économiques et sociales pour s’approprier progressivement les concepts, méthodes et problématiques essentiels des 3 sciences sociales (science économique, sociologie et science politique) ;
un enseignement de mathématiques pour acquérir un bagage solide et adapté aux poursuites d’études en économie et en sciences humaines.
En terminale
La spécialisation devient plus forte. Des enseignements communs demeurent (LV1 et LV2, EPS, enseignement moral et civique), à côté des enseignements spécifiques qui ont un poids plus important qu’en 1re :
sciences économiques et sociales (coef. 7 ou 9) ;
mathématiques (coef. 5 ou 7) ;
histoire-géographie (coef. 5) ;
philosophie (coef.4)
De plus, s'ajoute un enseignement de spécialité au choix permettant d’acquérir des profils différents dans la perspective d’une poursuite d’études :
mathématiques ;
sciences sociales et politiques ;
économie approfondie.
Sans oublier, en 1re et en terminale
pour tous les élèves, 2 h hebdomadaires d’accompagnement personnalisé (soutien et approfondissement scolaires ; aide à l’orientation) ;
deux enseignements facultatifs (au maximum) au choix dont seuls les points supérieurs à 10/20 seront pris en compte à l’examen du bac.

agree  CMFrench: Quite right. American English would probably call this an "Academic Specialty Field" in some private school systems, since a major conjures up university-related vocabulary.
