le tout sauf meilleurs ou plus récents confronts subject to any more recent or accurate details of adjoining properties Explanation: I haven't found "confronts" in a dictionary but, as you say, it clearly means "details of adjoining properties". -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 43 mins (2016-06-20 14:55:41 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Or maybe "precise" rather than "accurate". All save better-drawn or more recent boundaries Explanation: - specific to Languedoc (speaking the language of occitaine) and where the inhabitants are non-confront-ational. A slight shift of emphasis from Phil G.'s answer, namely to the acutal borders and not the particulars thereof. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 8 hrs (2016-06-20 23:07:45 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- ... yer actual borders... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 6 days (2016-06-27 12:19:15 GMT) Post-grading -------------------------------------------------- Boundaries and *building lines* ('...this one fit my context better as it was talking about the buildings rather than the boundaries').
