solar eclipse glasses Explanation: I think in the UK the most common term would be '(solar) eclipse glasses' and not 'solar observing glasses'. However, given that tourists may well be visiting when there isn't an eclipse, I would probably go for something along the lines of "Since le Pic du Midi also houses an observatory, eclipse glasses are also available to allow visitors to view the sun safely.
