"contribute into" I only know in reference to money - and here, as you can see when you search for it, the word is primarily used for funds; I think "to" is not only a preference, but appropriate given the circumstances. You can transfer/put something into something else (http://www.fyldetaxaccountants.co.uk/property-articles/trans... ), but regarding contribute, I will continue to object to the use of a preposition other than "to."

Furthermore, I focused on British English and legalese. If there's any proof of genuine (non-translated or non-EU documents) sources saying contribute (in)to, I will accept that.

Surely it can't hurt to quote official documents. I actually forgot one: The Companies Act 2006.

There is nothing odd about contributing non-cash items in various forms, in particular intellectual property. That could mean transfer of ownership from the contributor to the company, or making the company a beneficiary of it in one way or another. Your references actually describe various ways. And there is also nothing wrong with translating "einbringen in" as "to contribute into". Maybe you prefer replacing "into" with "to", that would work also.

Did a bit of digging here, as this question caught my eye, but I wasn't particularly satisfied with the link given. To "contribute" money into something? Possibly. But "contributing" rights "into" a company? Sounds a bit odd to me.

I suppose it's about this here:
