A certain recently deceased famous coach of a well-known Spanish football team is described as "arbitrario y genial, poemático y cardiópata". Can anyone suggest what the writer was getting at with "cardiópata"? TIA

I find the juxtaposition of adjectives rather strange but I've come to the conclusion that it really is this literal. I'd certainly support Phil's "former", which helps to give the idea that he was brilliant and creative despite having had health problems. Thanks!
