Num material de noções básicas de bombeamento de água, "static head" e "static lift" são apresentados como sinônimos no início da explicação, e são usados intercambiavelmente ao longo do texto.

Em PT-BR, a tradução que encontrei para ambos (e que já estava na TM do meu projeto) é "altura estática".

Porém pesquisando o assunto encontrei também "altura de recalque", não tenho certeza de que entendi, mas a definição parece ser a mesma.

Aqui o texto original:

"Static head (= static lift) is the vertical distance between the lowest point of the water source (dynamic water level) and
the highest point of water delivery (e.g. top of a tank)"

Posso traduzir como "altura estática (= altura de recalque)"?
