Notes to answerer
Asker: Thanks. Thrombosis is clear, what is not clear is "vital thrombosis". Could you provide a reference, or at least an explanation for vital thrombosis. (BTW, our term would actually be thrombus, not thrombosis.)

agree  Randa Farhat: @Alaa - Vital here is in the sense of Crucial, Fatal. It sounds as if the source text used حيوي as a translated term.// After much searching I found that خثرة دموية حيوية means FRESH THROMBUS, being recent and sudden; whereas مظاهر حيوية means BIOMARKERS
