Vrea sa spuna ca masina si-a schimbat directia de mers (probabil pe diagonala) ajungand in pozitia respectiva. In niciun caz nu inapoi (a ricosa inseamna a-si schimba directia . NU a sarit inapoi, si nici nu a fost impinsa inapoi. A-și schimba direcția traiectoriei inițiale în urma ciocnirii de un obstacol.

Asker: Multumesc, dar acest termen nu inseamna cumva, mai degraba, ca vehiculul a fost proiectat/aruncat la distanta?

Asker: Inteleg. Ceea ce nu inteleg este ce s-a intamplat aici: masina a fost lovita si a ricosat (adica, daca inteleg eu bine, a fost aruncata inainte) sau a fost lovita si a fost impinsa inapoi? Ma refer aici la semnificatia termenului "deflected". SI acum pe text: din text reiese ca a ajuns cu botul in spatele masinii din fata. Sincer? Nu prea inteleg textul. Actiunea de a ricosa mi se pare ca inseamna: RICOȘÁ, pers. 3 ricoșează, vb. I. Intranz. (Despre un proiectil; p. gener. despre orice corp mobil, aruncat sau izbit cu putere) A sări înapoi sau a-și schimba direcția traiectoriei inițiale în urma ciocnirii de un obstacol. – Din fr. ricocher. Sau poate autorul vrea doar sa spuna ca masina a fost impinsa inainte si atunci merge sa spun deflected care vad ca inseamna (in engleza) si a ricosa (adica a fost impinsa inapoi, ceea ce nu e cazul, sau, pur si simplu proiectata in botul masinii din fata, ceea ce ar merge). Scuzati lungul monolog, incerc sa inteleg si ce spune autorul, dar si sensul exact in engleza...
