Minha sugestão inicial seria traduzir como "encaixe", mas talvez alguém apareça com uma tradução melhor. Se tiver mais alguma ocorrência de "material-fit" no texto e puder postar, seria legal, Teresa. Assim daria para ter mais certeza se a ideia é essa mesmo.
