Art is supposed to speak for itself. Art critics (read 'the author') will always have an urge to explain the artworks in detail. The better ones resist that urge. This one takes advantage of his role as an author to examine the artworks too closely. To cycle right in amongst them or dive into the water instead of looking at it from the beach.?
