RN/BRN Explanation: This looks approximately like the difference between registered nurse (RN) and Bachelor's degree in nursing (BRN). At least in the US, the first is an associates degree (2years) and the second is a Bachelor's (4 years). See my second reference. The first is 120 points and the second is 180 points. Reference: Sjuksköterskeexamen Reference information: You do a double degree in Sweden - Sjuksköterskeexamen + Kandidatexamen i omvårdnad or in English a Degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing + Degree of Bachelor of Science according to Universitets- och högskolerådet. The complete degree comprises 180 higher education credits, with30 credits per semester full time. (In the previous system a semester comprised 20 credits so the full degree was 120 credits). "Sjuksköterskeprogrammet, 180 högskolepoäng Utbildningen omfattar 3 års heltidstudier 180 hp (40 tim/vecka) och består av teoretiska och kliniska studier som gör dig väl förberedd att arbeta som sjuksköterska inom dagens och morgondagens hälso- och sjukvård.
