I am sorry, I wasn’t thinking clearly earlier. Since the words “olive oil” are not actually mentioned in your group of words but since they refer to it, you should write, “who legally make it available at the retail stage”, or write, "who legally supply at the retail stage".

I don't think it is incorrect to write, "who legally make olive oil available at the retail stage", especially if it is mentioned later in the sentence, so choose from either alternative.

Regarding your second question, please note that I had provided my original answer based on the precise question that you had asked. But, you are correct, this sentence is better translated in the way that you now suggest, so either write, "who legally make branded standardised extra virgin olive oil available at the retail stage" - and then the parenthesis, or write, “who legally supply branded standardised extra virgin olive oil at the retail stage" - and then the parenthesis. But be careful how you spell ‘virgin’! (I apologise for the delay in responding, I had shut my PC down and noticed your second note on my mobile).

legally sell (olive oil) by retail

Explanation:
οι λέξεις "στο στάδιο" μάλλον είναι εκ περισσού, αν και για να είναι πιο ακριβής η μετάφραση θα ίσως θα έπρεπε να είναι "legally sell (olive oil) at the stage of retail"

Notes to answerer
Asker: I see. I wrote "olive oil" because it is mentioned later in the sentence. (διαθέτουν [...] επώνυμα τυποποιημένα εξαιρετικά παρθένα ελαιόλαδα) I agree with "legally supply at the retail stage".

Asker: Ok. This sentence is a bit confusing in Greek. In your opinion, would it be less confusing If used the phrase "who legally make branded standardised extra vergin olive oil available at the retail stage" and then the parenthesis

Asker: Thank you very much, Peter. "Vergin" was a typo, I just noticed it, I was on my mobile, too. Thank you for spotting this error, anyway. :) Have a nice evening.
