Buongiorno a tutti.

In un testo turistico sull'Alto Adige, trovo la descrizione di una serie di chiese e cappelle. Il termine che mi sta creando difficoltà è inserito nel seguente contesto:

1724 wurde mit dem Bau der Kreuzkuppelkirche mit den vorspringenden Apsiden und der ***Fassadenglockenmauer*** begonnen. Zwei Jahre später wurde die Kirche eingeweiht.

Per "Glockenmauer" ho trovato una definizione molto chiara: "Derjenige sehr ursprünglich geformte Gebäudeteil romanischer Kirchen und Kapellen, der die Glocken aufnimmt und nicht als Turm volumenmäßig, sondern nur flächig als Mauerwerk ausgeführt ist."

Il concetto mi è chiaro, ma non riesco a risalire alla denominazione in italiano di questo componente architettonico. Sono abbastanza sicura che non possa essere definito "campanile", sebbene io l'abbia trovato così tradotto in un testo bilingue altoatesino.

Ringrazio sin d'ora gli esperti in campo artistico-architettonico che vorranno aiutarmi a risolvere il dubbio.
