It\'s kinda sketch

Di nulla Adriano. Mi pare che "sketch" sia però più una deformazione di "sketchy" e sempre aggettivo.

"As I wrote in an "On Language" column for The New York Times in 2010, sketch and sketchy have had treacherous undertones in student slang going all the way back to the '70s. A list of slang items used by students at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, published in 1975, defined sketch as an adjective meaning "dangerous, risky," illustrated with the example, "I think we're in a sketch situation."

This "iffy" meaning of sketch(y) has taken on increasing importance in youth-culture circles in recent years, often to describe unknown individuals who might present a danger (a.k.a. sketchballs). Grazie Mirko, il sito che hai messo chiarisce. Lo conoscevo ma mi sono dimenticato di vederlo. Grazie a te ho visto che comunque esiste anche il sostantivo (comne appunto qui): sketch
a term used to describe a situation, a person, a store, a restaurant, an item, basically any noun, that is of dubious character
That restaurant looks a little sketch; did you see all the bugs in there?!

Non ho capito perché non hai risposto alla domanda, come si fa di solito. Ho sbagliato qualcosa nel porla?

Secondo me è si tratta di "sketchy":

creepy, iffy, fairly unsafe, an air of uncertainty, not kosher, and just generally something or someone that you don't want to be associated with (or really do want to be associated with, depending on who you are...)

1. That guy staring at me is really sketchy.

2. This Waffle House is really sketchy.

3. I don't know if I like Steve's driving--it's kinda sketchy.
