I think that hand-in here is used almost instead of hand out... Why ? Because it seems to me that for it to be translated as meaning "submitted", the sentence should have been "handed-in boards"... That's the only sense I'm making of the source sentence... So part of your sentence would "revoir et adapter les plaquettes et brochures à distribuer "
