Zanim wszyscy się złapią za głowę, że ile to razy już było, nieśmiało proszę o wyrażenie opinii na temat mojego tłumaczenia dłuższego passusu, który w oryginale brzmi:
"Second, it’s important to distinguish between**** efficiency (doing things right) ****and **** effectiveness (doing the right things) ****in measuring sales activities. Depending upon the strategy, some sales forces require ***efficiency (usually, cost-efficiency)**** measures, while others require ****effectiveness ****metrics. But the most commonly used aggregate metric for evaluating a sales force is the sales expense-to-revenue ratio. This ratio can shed light on the relative ****cost efficiency *****of selling activities, but not (by itself) on their ****cost effectiveness****, which is a more complex relationship between selling costs, revenues, sales margins, and customers acquired through one or another means of organizing the sales effort"

Tłumaczenie:
Po drugie w mierzeniu czynności sprzedażowych należy rozróżnić wydajność / sprawność (robienie czegoś dobrze) od skuteczności (robienia odpowiednich rzeczy). W zależności od strategii, niektóre zespoły sprzedaży wymagają mierników wydajności / sprawności (zazwyczaj kosztowej), a inne mierników skuteczności. Tymczasem najpowszechniej wykorzystywanym zbiorczym wskaźnikiem oceny ekipy handlowej jest stosunek kosztów sprzedaży do przychodów. W relacji do kosztów wskaźnik ten może ujawnić relatywną wydajność / sprawność czynności sprzedażowych, ale nie może (samodzielnie) poinformować o ich skuteczności, która stanowi bardziej złożoną relację kosztów sprzedaży, przychodów, marży sprzedaży oraz klientów pozyskanych za pomocą tego czy innego narzędzia organizacji działań sprzedażowych

podsumowując ja sie waham między:
wydajność / sprawność a skuteczność,

ale będę głęboko zobowiązana za Wasze uwagi w kontekście mojego fragmentu, zwłaszcza, że tam się te koszty nieszczesne jeszcze pojawiają.
