Bus/Financial - Business/Commerce (general) / Préambule de la société
French term or phrase: statuts
Althout numerous translations of "statuts" is given in proz but I'm kind of confused about the translation in my document. "statuts" is a heading in my document. Its a Préambule de la société where details about "formation, capital social, modification du capital, cession et transmission des parts, gérance et are explained.
In this kind of document I wonder where its best to translate statuts as "statuts" or "bylaws", 'Constitution' or by "articles".

Merci.

If your target readership is unclear, or if you are uneasy about using direct equivalents, I have found this to be a useful alternative to articles/memorandum etc.
