Estou traduzindo um texto sobre saúde bucal e me apareceu o termo "grazing' que quer dizer pastar e é usado para gado. Neste caso, eu poderia usar também como comer normalmente no seguinte contexto?

Letting your child snake, sip on liquids containing sugar or grazing all day long can lead to an unhealthy mouth and tooth decay.

Acho meio estranho usar este termo para pessoas.
