Per quel poco che so, il "retention rate" ha un significato più preciso:
- dal primo link: "Il tasso annuale di ritenzione dei clienti, ovvero la percentuale dei clienti che rimangono tali da un periodo di gestione a quello successivo"
- dal secondo link: "— le dinamiche transattive che caratterizzano
una customer base acquisita nel medesimo periodo
ovvero il trend percentuale dei clienti che nei
periodi successivi a quello di acquisizione restano
transattivi (Tasso di Ritenzione o Retention Rate)"

In alternativa lo lascerei in inglese.

PS: il marketing sa essere orribile :/
