I'm translating a 'Programme d'émission d'obligations adossées à des actifs' which stipulates that the 'obligations' may be of different 'souches'. The term comes up several times in the following paragraph: 'Les Obligations émises par la Société, à une même date ou à des dates différentes, peuvent être de souches différentes (chacune une "Souche"). Chaque Souche peut être émise par tranches (chacune une "Tranche"), ayant la même date d'émission ou des dates d'émission différentes. Les Obligations d'une même Souche seront soumises (à tous égards à l'exception éventuelle du premier paiement des intérêts) à des modalités identiques, les Obligations d’une même Souche étant fongibles entre elles". I see that there are many entries for the term 'souche' already on proz, but none of them seem to fit my context. Would 'sub-group' be a valid suggestion? I also considered 'tier' but am not sure whether that is specific to a particular type of 'obligation'. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

agree  Elmachich: Just a suggestion: I personally would add series to the word issuance to be closer to the meaning of "souche" => issuance series.
