This term appears in a series of emails regarding the cooling of fermentation crusher seals. Here is the context:

Pour rappel, à ce jour, l'eau glycolée est ramenée à chaque broyeur en une seule batterie limite (brides d'entrée/sortie - Cf. image ci-dessous). Elle alimente à la fois le pot de garniture et le système de refroidissement (double enveloppe) du broyeur. Le circuit de distribution interne depuis la batterie limite jusqu'aux deux consommateurs est géré et fourni par NETZSCH.

and further down:

Etant donné le besoin en froid au niveau de la double enveloppe des broyeurs, il ne nous est pas judicieux de remplacer l'eau glycolée par l'EP au niveau de la batterie limite.

There is a picture in the email, but it doesn't really tell me anything .. and yes, I've taken a look at Netzsch's site and am none the wiser!

Explanation:
It seems very likely that "batterie" here should not be translated as "battery".
