agree  Veronica Martinez: Coincido. No conocía este término ya que en Argentina le decimos "pisingallo" a esta variedad de maiz, pero el término más común que encontré fue "reventón" (porque es cierto que no se refiere a la palomita en sí, sino a la variedad zea mays everta)
