Flight Duty and Rest Period Regulations

Does this means that it's not possible to apply the increases to only one of the types of break (ie on the ground or in-flight). I'm wondering why it's "ellas" (feminine) unless it's referring to "provisiones" in the previous paragraph. I'm also wondering how this fits with the flight duty limit increases being mutually incompatible.

I would be grateful if anyone can help to unravel this. Many thanks in advance.

The injunctive statement — ' Agnihotram juhoti' is an example. Here the verb — 'juhoti' is in imperative mood. The conjugational suffix denotes volition.

and it is not possible for only one to apply.

Explanation:
I'm not sure why it's "ellas", but I don't think it changes the meaning.

neutral  Billh: but I would say that this is not the true meaning. It is an injunctive statement. I may well be possible but prohibited to apply just one of them. This is not the actual meaning here
