Tengo un problema con "put" que en este caso está usado como adjetivo. El contexto es este:

"The Obligor hereby grants to the Lender the right to require the Obligor, during the Put Exercise Period, and the Obligor hereby agrees, in accordance with the procedures set forth in this Agreement and on the other terms set forth, to purchase and acquire from the Lender thirty percent (30%) of the rights and obligations."

Por cierto, las opciones de venta se pueden realizar sobre cualquier activo, por ejemplo, un inmueble. Si crees que tu casa puede caer de precio porque se avecina una crisis, te vendo una opción de venta. Me pagas por ejemplo 2000€ (prima) y, de aquí hasta 2018 (periodo de ejercicio) tienes el derecho a venderme tu casa por 200.000€ (precio de ejercicio). Si tienes razón y el mercado cae, siempre podrás venderme la casa a 200.000€ aunque valga mucho menos. Si el mercado de la vivienda no sufre, sigues con tu vida como si no hubiese pasado nada :)
