French term or phrase: dont (le droit) se nourrit
This is a text about the learning outcomes of various university degree courses (Belgian), in this case a Bachelor's degree in Law. Can't come up with a natural-sounding way to phrase this introductory bit:

L’étudiant inscrit au programme de bachelier en droit ambitionne d’acquérir une formation de base aux savoirs, méthodes et raisonnements essentiels de la science du droit, tout en s’ouvrant aux autres disciplines des sciences humaines **dont le droit se nourrit**.

Currently have "that feed into law"; possibly "that engage with law". Not completely happy with either of those so any help welcome!

which (the law) draws upon / upon which the law draws
Explanation:
If you don't like version 1 because it ends in a preposition, version 2 only offends (me) through assonance.

The Finch referred to in the first ref. I found is definitely not me!

disagree  Daryo: that would mean that law wouldn't exist without these other disciplines - not what is said in the ST

-> Disagree with your "disagree". Law couldn't exist as a highly evolved institution without the human sciences as a springboard.

disagree  AllegroTrans: "nourrit" to "developed from" is an over-translation as well as being untrue for law

Notes to answerer
Asker: I assume you mean "human science disciplines from which law is derived" rather than "human science disciplines derived from law", which would seem to be diametrically opposed to Barbara and katsy's interpretation?

agree  AllegroTrans: yes, this avoids the incorrect notion that law develops from other disciplines, which it doesn't, it merely draws on them, hence "nourrit"
