I am not sure what the translation is in this context:

I don't think that the typical "premium/bonus" translation works here. The meaning is "higher than", so I would suggest rephrasing the sentence as "First, the presence of directors with international expertise represents an increase of 0.48 in the degree of internationalization compared to those without." and then "Second, this increase rises to 0.78 for companies that...".
