< - Euh… je suis désolé, mais madame… euh… Salomon m’a dit que nous n’étions pas placés, bafouille-t-elle en me fixant avec des yeux déjà humides. O là là ! Cette pouffe va se faire bouffer tout cru, pourtant il est hors de question que je m’attendrisse.>

La voce narrante descrive con 'cette pouffe' una tipetta buffa che a scuola ha osato prendere il suo posto. Si tratta di una ragazzina molto imbranata, con i capelli legati in codini, giacca a quadri e gonna a pieghe fin sotto il ginocchio.
Qualche suggerimento per tradurre POUFFE?
Wiktionary dà questa definizione (che non è molto d'aiuto): pouf m (plural poufs) 1. pouffe (thick cushion).
Evidentemente in italiano ci vuole un termine colorito, un'offesa senza tanti complimenti con connotazione GIOVANILE.

Un termine italiano che mi sembra corrispondere alle caratterizzazioni date da questi link è «coatta», direi meglio al diminutivo «coattella» per stemperare un po'.

Se il personaggio non corrisponde per niente a queste definizioni, bisognerà cercare qualcos'altro. In ogni caso facci sapere, è molto interessante!

Asker: bene! mi sa che userò sfigata qui, e in un'altra ricorrenza (...les camés qui révèlent toutes leurs fragilités, Steve et ses pouffes, et des jeunes que je n'ai jamais vus.), visto che sto Steve è un seduttore seriale di ragazzine, sceglierò 'troiette'.

Asker: Bell'idea, senz'altro, me la appunto. Ma nel mio romanzo la parola pouffe viene usata anche per ragazzine un po' cialtrone/troiette, non necessariamente brutte, quindi sceglierò un termine tipo 'sfigata' o simile. GRAZIE, comunque!
