Il testo che sto traducendo illustra i metodi di rimozione dell'arsenico e dell'uranio dall'acqua destinata al consumo umano. In via preliminare si dice che, ove possibile, anziché adottare misure per l'eliminazione dei due elementi dall'acqua utilizzata, sarebbe meglio abbandonare lo sfruttamento della risorsa idrica contaminata e ricorrere a fonti di approvvigionamento alternative, caratterizzate da concentrazioni di arsenico e uranio ridotte.

Sollte eine Quelle gänzlich aufgegeben werden, muss sichergestellt werden, dass alternative und weniger geogen belastete Ressourcen genügend Wasser liefern um eine ausreichende Versorgungssicherheit zu garantieren. Allenfalls können auch bestehende und weniger belastete Quellen ***im Rahmen der natürlichen Quellschüttung*** stärker genutzt werden oder Trinkwasser wird aus anderen Netzen stärker genutzt (zweites Standbein).
