Important workstations are folding stations. Such are usually executed in the form of folding switches. In a Faltweiche a part of the blank is run against a curving surface and bent or folded along the curve. The convolution is thus causes such Faltweiche by propulsion.
Wichtige Arbeitsstationen sind dabei Faltstationen. Solche sind meist in der Form von Faltweichen ausgeführt. Bei einer Faltweiche wird ein Teil des Zuschnitts gegen eine sich krümmende Fläche geführt und entlang der Krümmung geknickt oder gefaltet. Die Faltung wird bei einer solchen Faltweiche also durch den Vortrieb bewirkt.
