Marketing - Cosmetics, Beauty
French term or phrase: eau de teint
This is marketing blurb for a very lightweight (no make-up make-up) water-based foundation.

"L' Eau de teint qui mate les brillances"
"L' eau de teint (brand) for un éclat mat"

Can I leave it in French, as per eau de cologne, has anyone else come across this?

Many thanks

eau de teint
Explanation:
I'd leave it as is.

It's like how my mother used to, according to her, put on her "eau de cologne" everyday.

But I have also seen this brand referred to as "Magic Water" on the Internet. So maybe something like "magic formula" could work, too.

Explanation:
The US version of the same product: http://www.lorealparisusa.com/en/Products/Makeup/Face/Founda...

The UK version does in fact use 'eau de teint' in French.

Armani came out with the original formula, and refers to it as a 'skin perfector: http://www.armanibeauty.com/make-up/face/foundation/maestro-...
'Maestro is not a foundation, and more than a skin perfector'
