pershuis/mediacentrum Explanation: Dat 'Biethaus' 'veilinghuis' betekent met ik met Jan Willem eens. Het lijkt me geen typefout. Je vraagt echter (ook) om uitleg van de term 'Pressehaus'. Als je in het Duits zoekt, dan is een 'Pressehaus' een verzamelplek voor media-vormen, zoals pers, tv tv en internet (in de moderne variant). 'Pershuis' blijkt wel degelijk te bestaan, maar in Vlaanderen (zie link) en het lijkt me een ouderwetse term voor een gebouw waarin uitgeverijen van kranten en tijdschriften waren gevestigd. In modern Nederlands zou ik voor 'mediacentrum' gaan als vertaling van 'Pressehaus', maar wellicht is dat te modern voor de context. Dan misschien toch 'pershuis', om het historische karakter ervan aan te geven. Het lijkt me niet dat 'Biethaus' en 'Pressehaus' synoniemen kunnen zijn, al worden ze in deze zin wel zo gepresenteerd.
