I understand 'titre d’exploitation' refers to the right to make commercial use of something, from a logging permit to exclusive rights on an invention. Can anyone suggest a term for this that would work to apply to 18th-century usage? I'm wondering about 'commercial title'. Thanks very much.

-> it's definitely in the first one and the 2nd one explains the book. In any case as with many or most academic docs, research is essential.
