Una vez que se hubiere practicado la inscripción el Registrador de la Propiedad está obligado a devolver el documento público presentado con la razón de inscripción, en la que se hará constar especialmente el Registro, número y fecha de inscripción, expresando la fecha de esta nota y la firma del registrador.

I assume "el documento público" is the notarised contract of sale, which then has to be registered.

If this is the title of the document, you should be able to confirm very easily that it's a registration certificate.
