Asker: 1 Откуда видно, что это болты, а не винты? 2 Какое слово оригинала переведено как "горизонтальный". Что такое вообще "горизонтальный разъём". Понятия "горизонтальный" и "вертикальный" относительные. Они зависят от положения узла в пространстве.

agree  Victoria Batarchuk: Только я бы выбрала "разъема". / Да всё однозначно. Напр., split casing - разъемный кожух. А connector больше электрический, штепсельный и пр. А вот "стык" как раз более неоднозначно (joint).
