In sticking close to the French here, you have the opportunity to use the very specific terminology for the context. Further points: - the use of "shall" may be better here. Depends on how you are dealing with this overall. - passive voice : may be a more natural solution here, again, depends on other choices relating to register. Comment: I think in saying "the pledge will be automatic", you miss the key meaning altogether I'm afraid.
