Это может быть емкость с щелочным моющим раствором как в пищевой (промывка чанов для пива, танков для молока), целлюлозно-бумажной промышленности, так и в гальванике. Для первых двух случаев уже разработаны специализированные щелочные моющие средства. Андрей почти попал, но чуть-чуть промахнулся :).
