Je traduis des documents de nature officielle.

Dans le présent contexte, je me demande s'il est question d'"animation sociale" ou de "travail communautaire". La deuxième idée me semble quelque peu péjorative.

Existe-t-il un terme encore plus officiel et approprié au présent contexte.

"The City of Barcelona organizes also ***community work*** in local neighbourhood to discuss and help residents to plan local initiatives, events, concerts, meetings, and provides assistance and cooperates with local social workers."

neutral  Germaine: D'accord avec Kevin. Le 1er lien date de 1980-1989 et vise un programme gouvernemental; le 2e aussi = "travaux forcés" pour chômeurs. C'est du socio-économique. Rien qui tienne du socio-communautaire. La connotation est négative désormais.
